We conserve, restore, and educate.

Cannabis for Conservation (CFC) is a science-based 501(c)(3) environmental nonprofit advancing ecological stewardship across private working lands in Northern California. We partner with landowners, communities, and public agencies to restore watersheds, improve forest health, and conserve wildlife for long-term rural resilience.

Flyer Promoting Bird Walk & Watershed Talk Along the Mad River

JOIN Us for a nature walk

During this guided morning walk along the Mad River Levee in Blue Lake, as part of Humboldt Green Week, our staff will share insights about the local landscape while we observe birds, identify native and invasive plants, and explore how water moves through the watershed.

It’s a great opportunity to connect with nature and learn more about the ecology and restoration of this important river corridor, so don’t miss out!

funding Opportunity

We’re kicking off a pilot project to manage American Bullfrogs across the South Fork Trinity—an invasive frog that eats native species. Do you have a bullfrog management plan or pond overrun with bullfrogs? Let CFC help you out.
